Bismillaahir rah maa nir rahiim

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

1 Alhamdulillaahi rabbil 'aaalamiin 2 Rahmaa nir rahiim

الرحمن الرحيم الحمد الله ربالعل

Praise to Allaah, Lord of the worlds The Beneficent, the Merciful

3 Maaliki yaw mid diin 4 Iiyaka na'abudu wa iiyaka nasta'iin

اياك نعبد و اياك نستعين ملك يو م الدين

Master of the day of requital Thee do we serve and Thee do we ask for guidance

5 Ih' dinaas sa raatal mustaqiim 6 Saraatal ladhii na an 'am ta 'alayhim

صراط الذين انعمت عليهم اهد نا الصراط المستقيم

Guide us on the right path The path of those upon whom Thou has bestowed favours

7 Ghayril magduubi 'alayhim wa laad daaal liin Aaamiin

امين غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضا لين Not those upon whom wrath is brought down, Let it be so

nor those who go astray
